BuzBee Maintenance is a commercial QBCC-licensed builder specialising in high-quality maintenance, repairs and construction works for community facilities, state schools and government clients across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Carpenter or skilled Handyman to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on general building maintenance and small-to-medium construction works, with real opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Carpentry maintenance and repairs including doors, cladding, kitchens, joinery, frames, skirting and general building elements
Internal and external building repairs on school and community facilities
Assisting with construction works such as covered walkways, sheds, fit-outs, recladding and general building works
Working alongside other trades and coordinating site access
Completing jobs to a high standard,
on time and with minimal disruption to clients
Maintaining a qualified and presentable approach when dealing with school staff and government clients
About You
Experience in commercial or maintenance carpentry (school / government / community facility experience highly regarded)
Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Clean criminal record
Good communication skills, reliable and presentable
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
