Position: Casual Disability Support Workers
Location: Tuggerah, Gosford & Central Coast Areas
What You’ll Do
- Provide person-centred support to participants in our SIL homes
- Assist clients with daily living needs, including personal care, social support and meal preparation
- Maintain participant records, daily shift notes and incident reports
- Follow individual support plans, including behaviour support and medication administration
- Routine daily support
- Following established procedures
- Escalating non-routine matters
- Basic household support
- Factual note-taking
- Training will be provided for medication administration as part of your role development
- Ensure homes are clean, protected and comfortable
Key Requirements
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster (morning, afternoon, evening)
- Minimum availability of 4+ days per week across the 7-day roster
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with a disability
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and a positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work under direction within established support plans and procedures
- Ability to follow management direction and escalat non-routine matters appropriately
- Team-oriented, with a focus on participant rights and independence
Qualifications & Training (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- All qualifications listed above must be current at the time of application
