Auriga Groupis a safe, focused, customer centric, and dedicated team of Marine and Aviation professionals located across Australia. Auriga Group is made up of two operating divisions, including Auriga Maritime and Auriga Aviation, providing operational services across 20 locations nationally.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Advisor to join our HSEQ team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Integrated Management System (IMS).
In this role, you will support quality assurance, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across our marine operations. Working closely with vessel masters and crews, engineering teams, operational leaders, and support functions, you will help ensure compliance with maritime regulations, industry standards, customer requirements, and company management system requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks.
Monitor compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.
Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support incident investigations and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.
Analyse quality data, prepare reports, and monitor key performance indicators.
Provide quality advice and support to vessel crews, operational teams, and management.
Lead internal and coordinate external audits, customer assurance activities, and regulatory inspections across the maritime business.
Support the development and delivery of quality awareness and training programs.
Promote a culture of quality, compliance, accountability, and operational excellence.
Assist with HSE activities and projects as required.

Your Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement practical improvement solutions.
Excellent written communication skills, including report writing, audit findings, procedures, and management reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Ability to influence and drive positive compliance and quality outcomes.
Sound understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 principles.
Experience with integrated management systems covering quality, safety, environmental, and risk management.
Knowledge of risk management principles and facilitating risk assessments.
Understanding of maritime operations, vessel management systems, and associated operational risks.
Demonstrated auditing and assurance experience.
Experience investigating incidents,
non-conformances, complaints, and process failures using root cause analysis techniques.
Minimum 3 years' experience in quality, compliance, assurance, HSEQ, or operational roles within maritime or a related industry.
Experience maintaining Integrated Management Systems and compliance frameworks.
Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action management.
Strong understanding of risk management and continuous improvement methodologies.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Maritime Studies, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience working within an ISO-certified organisation.
Knowledge of and working in ISM or AMSA regulatory requirements.
Training in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Experience supporting external certification audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications in Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, or Business Excellence frameworks.
Experience within vessel operations, ports, towage, dredging, offshore, shipping, or marine logistics.
