Scandia Group is looking for a detail-oriented, commercially capable Supply Chain Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems and getting things done. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and teams across Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Logistics and Customer Service, with a particular focus on inventory availability, demand planning and replenishment for major customers including Bunnings. You will interrogate data, identify anomalies, maintain accurate planning information, improve forecasts, spot stock risks and turn numbers into practical actions. Increasingly, AI will be part of your everyday toolkit—you do not need to be an AI developer or data scientist, but you do need to be curious, competent and comfortable using modern AI tools to analyse information, identify patterns, investigate exceptions, improve reporting and work more efficiently while applying the judgement required to verify the output.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining demand forecasts using sales history, seasonality, customer activity, promotions and business inputs
- Monitoring forecast accuracy, bias, demand volatility and changing customer order patterns
- Supporting Bunnings and other major customer replenishment, stock availability, promotions, range changes and product transitions
- Identifying potential stockouts, overstocks, supply delays, service risks and unusual demand before they become problems
- Maintaining inventory planning parameters including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, MOQ, pack sizes and replenishment settings
- Using NetSuite reports, saved searches, dashboards and inventory data to investigate issues and drive action
- Monitoring slow-moving, excess, obsolete and at-risk inventory
- Supporting purchasing and inbound supply planning across local and offshore suppliers
- Reviewing DIFOT / OTIF,

customer fill rate, backorders and stock availability
- Preparing clear reports, analysis and recommendations for management and operational teams

About you

- 3+ years' relevant experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment, procurement planning or a closely related analytical role
- Strong Excel capability including pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing, modelling and scenario analysis
- Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail
- Experience working with ERP systems involving inventory, purchasing, replenishment or demand planning
- The ability to interpret large volumes of information and identify what actually matters
- Practical experience using contemporary AI tools for analysis, research, data interrogation, productivity or reporting
- A willingness to experiment with new analytical tools while maintaining appropriate checks and controls
- Understanding of inventory concepts such as safety stock, reorder points, lead times, MOQ, pack sizes and stock classifications
- Experience analysing sales history, forecast accuracy, stock availability, backorders or customer service performance
- The ability to communicate findings clearly and recommend practical action

About us

Scandia Group is an established Australian business supplying products through major retail, independent trade and consumer channels, with Bunnings one of our key customers. We are a relatively small, commercially focused team, which means positive analytical work does not disappear into layers of management. You will work closely with the people making the decisions, develop a strong understanding of our products and customers, and see the impact of your work. Our workplace is practical, direct and down-to-earth. We take the business seriously without needing to take ourselves too seriously.
