What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide hands-on therapy to help clients improve their functional abilities, such as self-care, mobility, and daily living skills, mainly for podiatric clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong work ethic and reliability (non-negotiable)
- Physically fit and able to handle outdoor work all day
- Attention to detail — takes pride in their work
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Experience in the allied health sector and Occupational Therapist background
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
The key tasks include:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to NDIS participants in community settings across Sydney
- Complete functional assessments, goal-based intervention and outcome reporting
- Work collaboratively with participants, families and support teams to support functional capacity building
- Maintain timely and clinically appropriate documentation aligned with NDIS & Aged Care requirements
- Contribute to positive participant outcomes through practical, strengths-based intervention planning
- Manage travel and scheduling efficiently within a community-based model
We require you to have:
- Current, valid driver's license and own transport.
- Minimum of 6-12 months construction experience required
- Due to the security nature of some sites a police check and a working with children's check may be required.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.
