Cedars Tavern is preparing to launch a brand-new kitchen and bistro at the end of September, alongside an exciting new sports bar experience.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant Manager to help bring the next phase of the venue to life, support the team and create an experience that keeps locals coming back.

You might already be an Assistant Manager, or you could be an experienced Supervisor ready to take on broader leadership responsibility.

What You’ll Do

- Lead from the floor across the bar, bistro, sports bar, gaming room and beer garden

- Help establish service routines and operating standards for the venue’s new offering

- Coach and develop team members, helping build a strong service culture across the venue

- Build relationships with regulars while welcoming new customers to Cedars

- Support rostering, stock control, cash handling, reporting and venue performance





- Maintain strong standards across RSA, gaming, food safety, WHS and venue compliance

Who We’re Looking For

- Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or senior hospitality team member

- An upbeat, approachable leader who brings positive energy and gets the best from others

- Experience across food and beverage, gaming or broader pub operations

- Confidence leading busy shifts and making sound operational decisions

- Current NSW RSA and RCG, with ARCG or willingness to obtain it before supervising gaming operations

- Availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
