The Role:
We're seeking a qualified High Voltage Electrician to join our FIFO team on major infrastructure projects across Australia. This is a hands‑on role in high‑voltage substation environments, offering exposure to cutting‑edge HV assets, construction, testing, and commissioning works.
What You'll Be Doing:
Install, maintain, and commission high voltage electrical systems (11kV–330kV)
Perform switching and isolation in accordance with relevant network operator rules
Conduct cable terminations, testing, and equipment connections
Work within live substations under strict safety and compliance frameworks (PSSR, SWMS)
Collaborate with experienced supervisors, engineers, and project managers
What You'll Need:
Electrical Trade Certificate and current Electrical Licence
HV Switching and/or Authorisation (preferred)
Experience in substation construction or maintenance
Minimum 1-2 years of substation experience required
White Card, CPR/LVR, and High Risk Licences (EWP, Forklift, etc. desirable)
Ability to pass a full medical and D&A; test
Commitment to FIFO rosters 10/4 & 14/7
