APS Plumbing is seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumbing Apprentice in their third or fourth year of training to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. This is a full‑time position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, offering you the opportunity to develop your practical plumbing skills whilst working on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects. As a third or fourth‑year apprentice, you will be transitioning towards greater independence and responsibility, working alongside experienced plumbers to gain the hands‑on experience necessary to become a qualified tradesperson.

What you'll be doing

- Installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Testing plumbing systems to ensure they comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Assisting with the assembly and fitting of pipes, fixtures and appliances
- Maintaining a clean and protected work environment and adhering to health and safety protocols
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues and clients throughout projects
- Learning advanced techniques and best practices from experienced plumbers
- Completing required workplace‑based training and assessments to progress towards qualification

What we're looking for

- Currently in your third or fourth year of a recognised plumbing apprenticeship
- Strong practical skills with a solid understanding of plumbing principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently whilst seeking guidance when needed
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail




- A strong commitment to health and safety practices on site
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and conditions
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site locations
- Willingness to learn and develop your technical knowledge further
- Experience with reading blueprints and technical documentation is desirable
