We have an exciting chance for a reliable Support Worker with a “can do” attitude to assist a male with a spinal cord injury in the Harrington Park area.

You are reliable with good work ethic and understand the importance of providing care with dignity and respect. You are self-motivated, calm, and looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with our member in their own home and in the community, providing care and supports which include:

- Personal care – bathing, dressing, grooming (including bowel care and catheter care)
- Manual Handling (hoist and wheelchair)
- Domestic tasks (cleaning and laundry)
- Meal preparation (assistance with feeding/ eating)
- Assistance with medication





Commitment to this role is essential!

Current shifts on offer but not limited to:

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:00am – 10:00am
- Flexibility is a must
- Covering shifts for staff absences

Requirements:

You must have the right to live and work in Australia

A National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Drivers License

Anyone living locally with experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries would be considered highly desirable, however, reliable and compassionate applicants with a genuine interest are encouraged to apply.
