About Us:

Today, the Foundation continues his legacy, delivering frontline services and community support across NSW, ACT & QLD. With over 200 staff and 350 volunteers, we remain deeply committed to helping young people affected by issues related to drugs, crime, and mental health.
The Role:
We are looking for passionate Youth Workers (Part-time) to help deliver care and support to young people in our new Regional Reset service. Regional Reset is an early intervention program aimed at diverting youth from their high-risk environments, providing an opportunity for respite and to reset relationships, behaviours and attitudes.
As a Youth Worker you will participate in a shift work roster. This roster will be intensive during Regional Reset times, with less direct support required during the weeks where Resets are not planned.
This role includes:
Promoting meaningful engagement by young people in activities and working individually with young people on their own areas of interest.
Supporting the provision of services with a focus on quality engagement via creative arts, music, recreation and cultural connection.
Supporting young people to engage with educational and vocational activities.
Acquiring local knowledge in order to develop meaningful dialogue with young people with the view of building rapport and relationships, and increasing access to services.
Providing targeted interventions and support to young people in alignment Therapeutic Crisis Intervention principles where appropriate.
Managing the smooth day-to-day operations of the centre ensuring that the program is delivered to the highest standards.
Actively maintaining contact with young people in the program as appropriate.
Providing ongoing support for clients to assist them in meeting the goals outlined in their Case plan and Treatment Plan.
Maintaining accurate and up to date client records, statistics, and reports.
Demonstrate a commitment to culturally safe practice, particularly when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and families.
Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to trauma informed and person centred practice.
Successful candidates must have a current and valid QLD Blue Card prior to commencing employment.
If you're looking for work that’s real, challenging, and genuinely makes a difference—you’ve found the right place. At Noffs, we stand beside young people who’ve faced adversity early in life, offering free, evidence-based treatment and genuine care. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and walk alongside these young people on their journey, we’d love to hear from you.
