With a small team in Queensland, this Australian owned business provides reliable and affordable electronic solutions to a broad range of industries including construction, commercial, industrial, hospitals and security. Their products are known for durability and practical performance in demanding environments.
In addition to their electronic products, they offer rentals, maintenance, repair and installation services, giving you exposure to the full lifecycle of electronic equipment - from workshop testing through to onsite commissioning and customer support.
The business is currently looking for a Graduate or Junior Electronics Technician, with a qualification in electronics, at either engineering or technician level.
This opportunity will suit someone who is genuinely interested in hands-on electronics and developing strong practical capability. You will be responsible for programming, installation, commissioning,
maintenance and repair of their product range.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electronic workshop repairs
- Diagnosis and testing
- Replacing defective electronics and other components
- Program and setup of new and existing customer equipment
- Maintenance, testing and preparation of rental equipment
- Design, onsite installation, commissioning and testing
- Documentation of repairs, modifications and testing outcomes
Ideally you will have/be:
- Qualification in electronics, at either university or TAFE level
- Able to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation
- Solid attention to detail and good manual dexterity
- Some experience with soldering (SMT is considered a bonus)
- Ability to problem solve and follow product manuals
