NationalTeam Cleaning Services – Homebush NSW

National Team Cleaning Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Bobcat/Skidsteer Operator / Street Sweeper Operator to join our team on a full-time, 6 day, 40 hour a week basis. Based in Homebush West NSW 2140, this is a hands-on position that plays a crucial role in maintaining clean and well-maintained public spaces and sites across our service areas. You will be responsible for operating heavy plant and machinery to deliver high-quality cleaning and site preparation services to our diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the presentation and functionality of the spaces we service.

Key responsibilities

Operate Bobcat and Skidsteer loaders safely and efficiently in accordance with operational guidelines and site-specific requirements

Operate street sweeping machinery to maintain clean pavements, car parks, and public spaces to the highest standards

Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks on all plant and machinery to ensure equipment is in safe working condition

Maintain accurate records of work completed, fuel consumption and any maintenance issues encountered during operations

Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all site safety procedures

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to specification





Transport equipment between job sites as required and ensure machinery is properly secured during transit

Report any equipment defects or safety concerns promptly to management

Clean and maintain equipment at the end of each working day to ensure longevity and optimal performance

What we're looking for

Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence or equivalent, with a clean driving record

Current and valid Heavy Equipment Operator's Licence or Bobcat/Skidsteer certification (or willingness to obtain)

Proven experience operating Bobcat, Skidsteer loaders, or similar compact heavy plant machinery

Experience operating street sweeping equipment or road maintenance machinery

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to plant and machinery operation

Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions

Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks when required

Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting project deadlines
