Working closely with the Partners, this is will a predominantlystandalone role, however you will have the support of one offshore staff member and a junior accountant. You will be thekey point of contact for clients on technical and strategic SMSF matters.
The Opportunity
- Review and finalise financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of approximately 250 SMSFs.
- Manage workflow and review the work of SMSF Accountants, you will have support of an offshore team member and a junior accountant.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing proactive advice and exceptional service.
- Partner closely with the firm's Partners on complex SMSF matters.
- Ensure compliance with current superannuation and taxation legislation.
- Contribute to process improvements and ongoing efficiencies.

About You
- 5+ years' experience in Australian public practice within SMSF.
- Robust technical knowledge of SMSF legislation and compliance.
- Experience reviewing the work of other SMSF Accountants.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- CA, CPA or relevant tertiary qualifications (or working towards completion).
- Previous experience using Class Super is highly regarded.
