Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centre & Preschool is excited to be opening our brand-new, purpose-built 88-place centre in Reservoir, and we're looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our founding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new service from the beginning and help establish a solid educational culture, build meaningful relationships with families and create an environment where children and educators thrive.

Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centres & Preschools are family-owned and operated services across NSW and VIC. Our owners are two sisters, both with young children, who share a genuine passion for quality childcare and early education.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play an important role in developing and delivering a high-quality educational program that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing.

You will:

- Develop and implement engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF

- Observe, assess and document children's learning and development

- Use children's interests, strengths and individual needs to inform curriculum planning

- Create meaningful learning experiences that support development and school readiness

- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families

- Create an inclusive, engaging and welcoming learning environment

- Work collaboratively with educators to achieve positive outcomes for children

- Support and mentor educators within your room

- Ensure programming and documentation meet relevant regulatory and quality requirements

This is a full time, 38-hour-per-week position, Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered across our operating hours of 6:30am–6:30pm.

About You

We're looking for an ECT who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification

- Current VIT registration and Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates and National Foundations Child Safety Training certificate

- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Victorian Early Childhood Education and Care Regulations

- Strong understanding of children's development, learning and school readiness

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- A positive, reliable and collaborative approach

- A genuine passion for supporting children to learn, grow and thrive
