Import Operations Specialist - International Freight Forwarding

Leading International Freight Forwarder seeking a Import Operations Specialist to service Import LCL/FCL/RO-RO , Airfreight customers. Located in Mascot - close to transport/train. Work in modern office with dedicated team and management support. Offering 1 day WFH this is a great opportunity to join this market leader.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Handle Ocean FCL / LCL /RORO import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.
- Manage customer accounts and build client relationships
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
- Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.

ABOUT YOU:





- 2+ years Import local Freight Forwarder experience
- 1+ years experience with Cargowise1 - including understanding of workflow (tasks /milestones) and edocs.
- Robust attention to detail
- Understanding of import operations
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Adaptable
- Relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
