Clever Communicators is a small, clinician-led Speech Pathology practice in Coomera, and we're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team.

We're open to full-time or part-time and are happy to shape the role around the right person. Our ideal fit has 18 months + experience, however a willingness to learn, strong values and being a great fit for our team matter just as much.

At Clever, we care deeply about providing excellent clinical support. But we also believe that doing great work shouldn't require clinicians to be overloaded, micromanaged or constantly taking work home.

Our goal is pretty simple: we want you to have the time, support and autonomy to be a really good Speech Pathologist... and still have energy for your life outside of work.

What does working at Clever actually look like?

Your week will be a mix of clinic-based and mobile appointments , with dedicated work-from-home time for administrative duties .

We genuinely mean it when we say flexible.
Some of our clinicians work a 4.5-day week . Some start early so they can be out walking the dog in the afternoon. Others start later because slow mornings are more their style. We’re happy to talk about what works for your life, not just ours.

Mobile appointments are kept within a logical travel radius... generally no more than 15 minutes from our Coomera clinic , and you'll have access to one of our three company cars.

Our KPIs are transparent. You'll have a 60, 65 or 67.5% billable week(commensurate with your experience and pay expectations), with time built into your week for the non-client work that comes with being a Speech Pathologist.

And importantly, we don't believe every clinician needs to see every client.





We consider your skills, clinical interests, location and capacity when matching your caseload. As you develop areas you particularly love, we'll support you to grow them (we'll even link you with industry leaders for 1:1 supervision).

Who will you work with?

Our caseload is predominantly paediatric and includes:

- speech sound disorders

- language difficulties

- literacy

- complex communication needs

- AAC and multimodal communication

AAC and complex communication needs are a particular area of interest at Clever, however some clinicians lean more into this space than others do.

Never worked much with AAC? That's completely okay.

You'll be surrounded by clinicians who love this area and can support you to develop your confidence over time.

We also share our beautiful Coomera clinic with Mindful Beings Occupational Therapy , so there's plenty of opportunity for multidisciplinary collaboration without losing the close-knit feel of a small team.

You'll receive:

- $80,000 – $110,000 including super + KPI bonus depending on experience

- Monthly KPA bonus opportunities (because some weeks are simply busier than others. If your clinical workload happens to exceed your usual KPI, this is recognised with additional remuneration. This isn'tan expectation that you work above KPI)

- $1,500 annual PD allowance

PD allowance and paid PD days are based on full-time employment and provided pro-rata for part-time employees.

Clever is owned and led by Madeline, a practising Speech Pathologist who continues to work clinically.

That means decisions about diaries, clinical expectations, supervision, systems and service delivery are made with a genuine understanding of what the job looks like day-to-day.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an (ideally experienced) Speech Pathologist who is thoughtful, collaborative and genuinely cares about the quality of their clinical work.

You'll need:

- eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia

- a current driver's licence

- relevant screening and compliance requirements

- a commitment to evidence-based, person- and family-centred care

- 2 clinical referees

You don't need to have expertise across every area we work in.
