The Wallaby Hotel is looking for an experienced Duty Manager who loves being on the floor, knows how to lead a team through a busy service and genuinely enjoys creating a great experience for guests.

A much-loved local, The Wallaby Hotel brings together great food, drinks, gaming and entertainment in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We're looking for a Duty Manager who can bring energy, confidence and strong operational skills to the team while helping us continue to deliver the experience our locals know and love.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running shifts across bar, bistro, gaming and functions
- Leading, motivating and supporting the team during service
- Creating consistently great guest experiences
- Managing guest feedback professionally and confidently
- Keeping RSA, RSG, licensing, gaming and WHS compliance front of mind
- Jumping in wherever needed to keep the venue running smoothly
- Taking the lead when the Venue Manager is away
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager,
Supervisor or hospitality leader
- Current RSA and RSG
- RMLV or willingness/ability to obtain if required
- Experience working within a busy, multi-faceted hospitality venue
- Strong understanding of liquor licensing, gaming compliance and WHS
- A confident, hands‑on leadership style
- Someone who stays calm, organised and solutions‑focused when things get busy
- Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
- Most importantly, a genuine passion for hospitality, people and great service
