We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our energetic and growing business group, which manages a diverse portfolio of operating businesses, real estate and financial assets.
This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for overseeing the Group's day-to-day accounting and financial operations. It is well suited to a capable self-starter who enjoys being close to the numbers while also working with different parts of the business to strengthen processes, improve controls and support better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage sales and purchase invoices and the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Monitor expenditure and support effective financial controls
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and other external parties to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform and review general ledger and account reconciliations
- Prepare management reports and analyse financial information
- Conduct periodic audit and compliance checks for management review
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, procedures and internal controls
- Work with stakeholders across the Group to improve financial workflows and operational efficiency
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support business requirements and management decision-making
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience managing a full set of accounts within an SME or medium-sized business environment. Other key qualifications and experience include:
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to present financial information clearly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a rapid-paced environment
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Experience in internal or external audit, or previous management experience, will be highly regarded.
