The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Chef to join the team at Sunshine.

This is a varied role where you’ll work across preparation, grill and assembly while also having the opportunity to interact with our guests. You’ll need to be confident with the fundamentals, enjoy working with fresh ingredients and thrive in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment.

This is a casual position, with flexibility across the week and weekend availability essential.

Your Role

- Prepare and assemble dishes efficiently and consistently
- Confidently work across the grill and other kitchen sections
- Complete daily food preparation and mise en place
- Demonstrate strong knife skills, including preparation and chopping
- Maintain quality, presentation and consistency throughout service
- Follow HACCP, food safety and hygiene requirements
- Maintain a clean,



organised and well‑stocked workspace
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Assist with service and interact with guests when required
- Work collaboratively with the wider Sunshine team

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience as a Chef in a busy hospitality environment
- Strong preparation, grill and assembly skills
- A good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
- A genuine passion for fresh, quality food
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills
- Confidence interacting with guests when required
- A positive, professional and team‑focused approach
- Flexibility to work across a five‑day roster, including weekends
- Full working rights in Australia
