The Company

Our client is a leading commercial landscape construction company, renowned for their commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainability.

They have a strong presence throughout NSW and have a reputation for delivering demanding and challenging projects.

Their high-profile projects are between $100k – $10 million, including the landscaping packages on universities, schools, hospitals, parks, playgrounds, shopping centres, and residential towers.

The Opportunity

They are looking for a driven and ambitious Junior Estimator to support the estimating team by developing accurate cost estimates and project proposals.

The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in project costing, bid preparation, and client communication within the commercial landscaping sector.

The Role





- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects by analysing project plans, specifications, and requirements
- Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to fully understand project scope and requirements
- Review and research materials, equipment, and labor costs to develop comprehensive pricing information
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to gather cost information and quotes
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-project evaluations to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements
- Learn industry software and tools to support efficient project estimating and bidding

The Requirements

- Certificate III in Landscape Construction (Required)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with estimating software (Benchmark) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role and the company
