Sign Age is seeking a skilled and reliable Sign Manufacturer and Installer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands‑on role that sits at the heart of our business, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing and installation of signage across a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects. Based in Clontarf, QLD, this position offers the opportunity to work on varied and challenging projects that require precision and technical expertise. You will be integral to delivering high‑quality outcomes that meet our clients' expectations and uphold Sign Age's reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Install, position, and secure signs of varying sizes and materials to buildings, structures, and other surfaces
- Operate specialised installation equipment, including lifts, scaffolding, and power tools
- Conduct site assessments to determine the most suitable installation methods and identify potential challenges
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety standards, building codes, and regulations
- Work safely at heights, including scaffold, following all health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and coordinate with clients to ensure installations are completed to specification
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites and maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Document work completed and provide feedback as projects progress and any issues encountered

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Sign Manufacturer and Installer
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Robust knowledge of installation techniques and best practices for signage materials including ACM, acrylic, vinyl, light boxes, LED letters and digital displays
- Competency in using hand tools,



power tools, and specialised lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Current working at heights certification or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, including scaffold, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to different site conditions
- Commitment to health and safety compliance and adherence to all workplace safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
