Responsibilities

As the State Operations Manager , you will take ownership of theoverall operational, commercial and people performance of the NSW portfolio.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Area Managers andoperational teams, you will drive service excellence while identifyingopportunities to grow existing client accounts, strengthen relationships andsupport new business opportunities.

This is a highly visible leadership role that requires someone who isequally comfortable leading large operational teams, managing key clientrelationships and having commercially focused conversations with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

- State OperationsLeadership: Lead the overall operational performance of the NSW portfolio,



ensuringconsistent, effective and high-quality service delivery across multiple clientsites.
- Business Growth &Development;: Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, expand serviceofferings and contribute to new business opportunities, tenders, bids andstrategic opportunities.
- CommercialPerformance: Take ownership of portfolio financial performance, including labourproductivity, budgets, resource utilisation, cost management and commercialoutcomes.
- Client RelationshipManagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and majoraccounts, acting as a senior escalation point and identifying opportunities to improve retention and expand existing relationships.
- Sales & GrowthStrategy: Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute strategies that support revenue growth, client retention and portfolioexpansion.
- ContractMobilisation: Lead the operational transition and mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring appropriate workforce structures, resources and processes are in place from commencement.
- Leadership &People; Development: Lead, coach and develop Area Managers and operational leaders, building accountability, capability and a high-performance culture across the state.
- OperationalImprovement: Monitor operational performance and implement initiatives that improve productivity, service quality, efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Workforce Management: Ensure labourdeployment,



workforce planning and operational structures remain commerciallysustainable and aligned with portfolio requirements.
- Risk, WHS &Compliance;: Maintain strong oversight of WHS, compliance, risk and contractualobligations across the portfolio.
- Reporting &Strategic; Planning: Provide accurate reporting on operational, financial, workforce and client performance while contributing to broader business strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

Theideal candidate will be an experienced State Manager, Operations Manager,Regional Manager or Senior Operations Leader with a strong background incommercial cleaning, facilities management or a similar contracted serviceenvironment.

Youwill be commercially minded, sales and growth focused, and passionate about building strong client relationships while delivering operational excellence.The successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead geographicallydispersed teams, manage labour-intensive operations and identify opportunitiesto grow existing accounts and win new business.

- Essential: Demonstrated experience leadingmulti-site operations within commercial cleaning, facilities management,property services or a similar contracted service environment.
- Strong preference for candidates withdirect experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong commercial acumen, includingexperience managing labour, budgets, productivity and financial performance.
- Sales and growth focused, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, grow existing client accountsand contribute to new business development.
