As Principal Project Officer, Study Queensland (SQ), you will be part of a passionate team working in collaboration with colleagues across TIQ, all levels of government, IET providers and key sector stakeholders.
You will design and deliver SQ's annual brand, marketing and communications work program globally, to position Queensland as a premier study destination and a preferred partner for education, training, research and innovation.

Study Queensland (SQ) plays a key role in enabling TIQ to fulfil its objectives in line with its strategic and business plans. This is achieved by working in collaboration with Queensland International Education and Training (IET) providers and key stakeholders to build and foster sustainable growth in Queensland's IET sector, and to deliver a positive, supportive student experience.that contributes to the social cohesion and community inclusion across Queensland.

About the Role The Principal Project Officer, Study Queensland (SQ), designs and delivers SQ's annual brand, marketing and communications work program globally to position Queensland as a premier destination and preferred partner for education, training, research and innovation. While located in SQ, the role closely collaborates with TIQ's Strategic Engagement and Communications (SEC), and Information, Technology and Delivery (ITD), divisions.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and deliver integrated brand, marketing and communication initiatives that align with Study Queensland's and TIQ's strategic priorities and organisational brand strategy, collaborating across TIQ and with key stakeholders to maximise engagement and outcomes.
- Develop and coordinate high-quality, audience-focused communications and campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring messaging is consistent with organisational wide objectives, market-relevant and effectively supports domestic and international stakeholder engagement.
- Identify procurement requirements and coordinate the engagement of external suppliers and contractors for marketing and communication projects, including chairing procurement evaluation activities and ensuring alignment with organisational and brand requirements.
- Manage the budget for SQ's annual brand, marketing and communications work program ensuring alignment with SEC's strategic communications and marketing direction.
- Contribute to SQ's strategic, business, and operational planning cycles to deliverand continuously improve SQ's brand, marketingand communications objectives in alignment with organisation brand, marketing and communication strategy.
