The role

We are seeking expressions of interest from high performing Senior Water Infrastructure Engineers/Project Managers who wish the next step into a leadership position managing the SA business. As Manager – Water Infrastructure this is an opportunity to take ownership of the business and drive growth areas within Water Infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have highly competent management and business development skills (e.g. industry profiling activities; sourcing new clients; repeat work from existing clients) to expand the water team capability in the region and source business opportunities to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.

Responsibilities

- Identifying, winning and delivering water infrastructure projects
- Contributing to the growth of the team through targeted client relationship management and business development activity




- Managing the commercial performance of the team
- Effectively managing and leading the team to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention and career development
- Providing input to projects at a project management and/or review level to achieve reliable project performance in terms of both timeliness and quality

Suitable Applicants Will Have/be

- Chartered Professional Engineer
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- 10+ years' professional industry experience in Water Infrastructure
- Experience of delivering technical projects within a consultancy environment both in a Design and Project management capacity.
- The ability to prepare successful proposals with the correct scope and budget
- The ability to submit technical reports to a high standard requiring minimal correction; and provide final review of reports
