- Contribute to High-Quality, Child-Safe, Council-Run Early Childhood Programs
- Full timeopportunities that includea monthly rostered day off
- Part timeopportunitiesof8 hour shifts (2or 3 day positions)
- All rolesoperateon a rotating roster, with shifts ranging from 6:45am to 6:15pm
- $76,383 -$81,228 perannum (dependent on experience) pro rata plus
- Location:Carrum,Edithvaleor Parkdale

A bit about the role

As a Diploma Qualified Early Years Educator,you’lldeliver responsive, high-quality care and education in line with Kingston’s policies and frameworks.



Guided by the Education and Care Leader or Early Childhood Teacher,you’llhelp plan, implement, and evaluate children’s learning—while also providing leadership and support to fellow educators.

In this role you will:

Supervise Children:Maintain the highest level of safety by actively engaging with children while supervising and monitoring their learning experiences, interactions, and routines at all times to ensure their well-being.

Build relationships: Develop andmaintainstrong collaborative relationships with children,familiesand other team members

Create Routines: Set up effective daily routines and systems

Develop Curriculum: Plan, carry out, and assess the children's learning activities

Work Together: Collaborate with leaders, coworkers, families, children, and the community

Adhere to the requirements of the National Quality Standards and framework, Regulations and EYLF

Program Implementation:Assistin the implementation of high-quality children’s programs that respond to individual strengths and interests of children, families, and staff.

Your Skills and Experience

As a passionate,caringand nurturing individual, you will have a strong passion for Early Childhood education along with thefollowing;

Minimum Qualification:Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Clearances: Current Employee Working with Children check

First Aid Certification:Level 2 First Aid, including Asthma & Anaphylaxis management and CPR

Curriculum Knowledge:Solid understanding of the expectations of the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National QualityStandardsand the current Regulations.
