Role Overview:

This position is for a Physician Assistant (PA) providing outpatient and clinic-based primary care services in a correctional facility.

Responsibilities:

The PA will manage a caseload of 5-8 adult patients daily, addressing injury management, acute illnesses, follow-up visits, physicals, chronic care, urgent care, and minor procedures within a structured correctional workplace.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required credentials include BLS, Washington state license, DEA registration, COVID vaccination, and prescriptive authority. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is negotiable. Clinical duties demand strong outpatient care skills in a secure setting.

Work Conditions:

The role involves day shifts, either four 10-hour days or Monday to Friday, with no call coverage required. The expected caseload is manageable within a structured environment.
