If you love neurological rehabilitation but are tired of roles dominated by NDIS reports, travel and billable-hour pressure, RehabX offers something different.
RehabX is a new specialist rehabilitation centre in Burpengary bringing together experienced clinicians, advanced rehabilitation technology and evidence-based treatment under one roof .

We are building a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team focused on helping people achieve meaningful improvements in independence, function, participation and quality of life.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a genuine interest in neurological rehabilitation to help establish and grow our OT service.
This isn't just a position to inherit. You will have the prospect to help shape what neurological OT looks like at RehabX.
Your Caseload
You’ll work with a genuinely varied neurological caseload including:
- Stroke and acquired brain injury
- Traumatic brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson's disease
- Motor neurone disease
- Functional neurological disorder
- Younger onset dementia
- Neuromuscular and other complex neurological presentations
- Adult and selected paediatric neurological rehabilitation
Importantly, your caseload won't be exclusively NDIS .
You’ll work across a mix of funding pathways including:
- NDIS
- NIISQ and other lifetime care schemes
- WorkCover and workplace rehabilitation
- CTP and third-party insurance
- Private health
- Medicare
- Private clients
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your clinical interests and experience, your role may include:
- Comprehensive functional and occupational assessments
- Goal setting and development of individualised rehabilitation programs
- Upper limb and hand rehabilitation
- Cognitive rehabilitation and compensatory strategy development
- Visual and perceptual rehabilitation
- Activities of daily living and community independence training
- Fatigue and energy-conservation management
- Executive functioning and return-to-life rehabilitation
- Assistive technology assessment and prescription
- Wheelchair, seating and positioning assessments
- Home modification assessment and prescription
- Complex home modifications where appropriate to your experience
- Return-to-work and vocational rehabilitation
- Functional capacity assessment
- Community access and participation programs
- Carer and family education
- Working collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists and other clinicians
You’ll also have access to technology-assisted rehabilitation, including BTL R‑Touch and R‑Lead , allowing digital rehabilitation and objective feedback to complement functional upper limb treatment.

What We Offer
$95,000 - $110,000 + Super for permanent employment, depending on experience.
Contractor arrangements are also available.

About You
We’re looking for someone who wants more than simply moving from appointment to appointment.
You’ll have:
- A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Ideally 3+ years of clinical experience
- Experience or a strong clinical interest in neurological rehabilitation
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working independently while valuing multidisciplinary collaboration
- A genuine interest in evidence‑based rehabilitation
- A desire to help build services and contribute to a growing team
Experience in neurological OT, assistive technology, complex home modifications, upper limb rehabilitation or vocational rehabilitation would be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of a team and help build something better .
