We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – SMSF to manage a portfolio of SMSF clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax and compliance services. Working closely with Partners and Advisers, you'll help clients navigate complex superannuation and taxation matters while ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive accountant who enjoys client interaction, technical problem-solving and building trusted relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
- Generate financial statements and income tax returns primarily for SMSFs, as well as for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Ensure compliance with SMSF regulatory obligations, including BAS, IAS, TBAR and PAYG reporting.
- Prepare trustee resolutions, minutes and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with auditors, the ATO and other external stakeholders to resolve queries and compliance matters.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients on SMSF, taxation and accounting matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Manage workflow priorities and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.




- Utilise Class Super and related systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

About You

You are a technically strong accountant with a passion for SMSFs and client service. You enjoy building trusted relationships, finding practical solutions and delivering quality outcomes.

Skills & Experience

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Solid experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
- Strong understanding of SMSF legislation, taxation and compliance requirements.
- Experience using Class Super (or similar SMSF software).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Experience liaising directly with clients and providing technical advice.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support team success.
