Karratha

- Rapidly growing civil contractor with a genuine strong pipeline of work
- Enjoy full ownership of delivery and the space to run a project properly
- $200,000 to $270,000+ DOE + Flights + Accommodation + Company Vehicle

Looking for a chance to make a meaningful impact within a growing company?

This is it.

Enjoy full ownership of delivery and the space to run a project properly.

About the role

You can be based in Perth, Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

The initial project is expected to run for 12 months, but don't view this as a short-term appointment. The company has a robust pipeline of work and is looking for someone who can continue with the business once this project is complete.

While this is a FIFO role, you could be spending approximately 50% of your time on site and 50% working from home, depending on the project requirements.

You'll be:

- Leading and managing civil construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure;
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resources;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards;
- Coordinating and supervising on-site activities and subcontractors;
- Fostering strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members;
- Preparing and submitting project progress reports and documentation;
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues;
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.

About you

You're an ambitious and proactive PM with a proven track record in managing civil construction projects from inception to completion,

ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

You'll have:

- A Civil Engineering degree;
- Proven experience delivering airport/apron projects and/or strong pavement/asphalt experience;
- Be a confident leader of Engineers, Supervisors and project teams;
- The ability to manage programme, cost and delivery without losing control of the detail;
- Be comfortable dealing with clients and holding relationships under pressure;
- A strong understanding of contracts, variations and commercial risk;
- Natural commercial awareness and ability to drive project margin;
- A willingness to mentor and develop Engineers into future leaders;
- Exposure to planning tools and earned value / cost tracking systems;
- Happy to be site-based and move with the work (QLD / NSW / WA);
- Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for direction.
