CONFIDENTIAL — We are conducting a confidential search for a Cybersecurity & Resilience Director to lead the enterprise cybersecurity and operational resilience function. This is a high-impact, director-level opportunity based in Sydney on a hybrid mode for a senior security leader who will own the end-to-end cybersecurity strategy, from threat intelligence and SOC operations through to incident response, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will design and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity programme aligned with the Australian Cyber Security Strategy 2023–2030, APRA CPS 234, and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI). You will lead SOC operations, threat hunting, and incident response capabilities, oversee vulnerability management and penetration testing programmes, and drive zero-trust architecture adoption across the enterprise.



You will build and scale a high-performing cybersecurity team, manage third-party security risk, and serve as the primary liaison with ASD, ACSC, and industry ISACs.

Nice to have

- CISSP, CISM, or CISA professional certification
- Experience with APRA-regulated entities (banking, insurance, superannuation)

- Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP
