Role Description

The General Practitioner will provide holistic, evidence-based primary care to patients of all ages in an on-site clinical setting located in Sydney, NSW. This full-time role involves conducting consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing management plans for acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preventative health assessments, immunizations, chronic disease reviews, mental health care plans, and minor procedures in line with practice capabilities.



The GP will collaborate closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and GP Supervisors to coordinate care, ensure continuity, and support multidisciplinary treatment pathways. The role also includes accurate clinical documentation, participation in quality improvement activities, and adherence to relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Extensive clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a wide range of presentations in a community practice setting.
- Background in Family Medicine, with a focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, and whole-of-person care across the lifespan.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based care.
- Commitment to Training, ongoing career development, and participation in supervision or teaching activities as appropriate.
- Recognized medical degree and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant medical board in Australia.
- Experience in general practice, including women's and men's health, mental health, minor procedures, and chronic disease management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with a respectful and inclusive approach to patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment, exercising sound clinical judgment and maintaining high ethical standards.
