APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineerto join a local Council on a 12-month temporary full-time contract.

- Location: Narellan
- Salary: $99,839 – $114,434 + super
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical advice and support the planning and delivery of traffic and transport initiatives focused on road safety, accessibility and network efficiency.
- Assess and provide advice on traffic, road, intersection, cycleway and pedestrian infrastructure.
- Support traffic studies, transport planning and traffic-related projects.
- Prepare reports and contribute to Traffic Committee and Council processes.
- Liaise with internal teams, consultants, external agencies and the community.
- Conduct site inspections and field work.
- Assist with project management,



funding applications and transport initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and traffic management requirements.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Traffic/Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline, or extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in traffic and transport management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and report-writing skills.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Current Driver’s Licence and ability to undertake site inspections.
- Experience with traffic/transport modelling software, MS Project or MS Access is desirable.
- Relevant road safety and traffic management accreditations are advantageous.
