About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join a well-established service team based in Sydney.
This is a workshop-based role where you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of commercial and industrial cleaning equipment. You will also assist with the assembly and pre-delivery inspection of new machines before they are delivered to customers.
Shift : Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
Salary: Up to $78,000 per year + Super
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and service commercial and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Assist with light assembly and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of new equipment.
- Test equipment following repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Complete service reports and workshop documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to meet repair and delivery deadlines.
- Assist with stock control and workshop housekeeping as required.
Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Diesel, or a related field is highly regarded.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Skills & Experience
- Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining industrial, commercial or mobile equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with electric motors, batteries, controllers, hydraulics or similar systems.
- Workshop or field service experience within industrial equipment, forklifts, access equipment, cleaning equipment, automotive or related industries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid organisational and time management skills.
- Skilled attitude with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.
