About the work unit / facility
Oral Health Services provides free public dental care to eligible community members across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) region. The dedicated team promotes, maintains and improves oral health through prevention, disgnosis, treatment and health promotion with services delivered across community and hospital-based clinics, fixed school clinics and mobile dental clinics throughout the region.

- Salary range: $40.35 to $58.59 p.h. (Classification)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
As an Oral Health Therapist, you will provide high-quality oral health therapy services to eligible clients across fixed and mobile dental clinics within Townsville HHS. Working as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver clinical services and health promotion, apply evidence-based clinical judgement and contribute to quality service improvement while promoting oral health at an individual, community and population level.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy (or equivalent) and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Possession of a Class C driver's licence
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
