About Capricorn Capricorn Metals Ltd is an Australian-based gold producer operating the Karlawinda Gold Project in the Pilbara and developing the Mt Gibson Gold Project in the Mid-West region of Western Australia. Our exploration team has delivered over 2.2 million ounces of gold reserves across both sites in recent years and continues to grow the resource base at Mt Gibson.
The Role
We are seeking motivatedExploration Field Technicians to join theMt Gibson exploration team on a2:2 roster .
Reporting to the Exploration Manager and Exploration Geologists, you will support day-to-day field activities including:
- Safely acquiring AC, RC and diamond drill samples
- Drill line clearing and site preparation
- Logging, sample dispatching and core yard work
- Flagging and pegging of drill hole locations
- Supervising earthworks and site rehabilitation
- Assisting with heritage survey activities
- General field support and camp/logistics tasks as required
About You
- 4+ years of exploration field experience (sampling, drill support, earthworks)
- Strong commitment to safety, process, procedure and quality control
- Physically fit, patient, reliable and able to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Senior First Aid and 4WD experience {highly regarded}
- PXRF certification (highly regarded)
