We are seeking a fully qualified Workshop Electrician to join our team. This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced electrician who enjoys workshop‑based electrical work, fault finding and the electrical assembly and testing of the equipment we manufacture.
You will work as part of a professional team, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation, wiring, assembly and fit‑out work within the workshop.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
Test, inspect and commission electrical equipment and systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, legislation and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of testing, repairs and completed work.
Work closely with other trades and workshop personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop workplace.
Identify potential electrical and safety issues and report them promptly.
About you
Current Australian electrical licence / unrestricted electrical licence.
Demonstrated experience working as a qualified electrician.
Strong electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Sound knowledge of electrical safety requirements and Australian Standards.
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
A reliable, safety‑focused and professional approach.
