As we grow our Managed Service team, we are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Relationship Partner with Aurion experience to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a senior professional who thrives on solving complex customer challenges, influencing outcomes, and providing expert advice without being responsible for payroll processing itself.

Responsibilities

- Ensure payroll outcomes are approached with a strong focus on compliance,sustainabilityand operational integrity

- Relationship manager our Managed Payroll Services client base, as a trusted escalation point and advisor





- Providesenior guidance on payroll-related escalations, ensuring issues are appropriately framed,prioritisedand directed

- Guide escalation pathways and reduce rework through early intervention and transparent direction

- Support compliant, sustainable and operationally sound payroll decision-making

- Provide governance oversight across complex payroll scenarios

- Provide structured advice across cross-functional and multi-team issues

About You

You are an experienced payroll professional with exceptional technical knowledge and the credibility to influence stakeholders at all levels without shying away from difficult conversations. You can simplify complexity, provide clear direction, and help others make informed decisions in high-pressure environments.

You'll bring:

- Extensive experience in payroll processing, payroll legislation and payroll operations

- Demonstrated success working within complex payroll environments

- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical and risk assessment skills

- Experience working with customers and stakeholders in fast-paced environments

- Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct ownership of delivery

- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Highly regarded

- Experience with Aurion or other enterprise HRIS/payroll platforms

- Managed services or outsourced payroll experience

- Exposure to government or highly regulated payroll environments

- Experience managing complex escalations and issue resolution

- Understanding of compliance, assurance and audit frameworks
