THE ROLE

The Asset Planing Officer role is responsible for facilitating, organising and participating in processes that lead to the formulation and monitoring of asset management works,



tracking and reporting on delivery to ensure the Secretary and sector managed asset strategies are effectively implemented. The role supports the development of the annual THM (or other specialist asset) capital program/s, and requires knowledge and analysis of relevant asset information, stakeholder consultation and coordination of planning processes, and experience in using the Housing Integrated Information Program (HiiP), and development of database and monitoring tools. This rewarding and challenging role will work collaboratively within the Specialist Accommodation Planning team in the Assset Lifecycle Planin Unit.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Contribute to the full life cycle planning activities for assets in the Specialist Accommodation Planning portfolio including: Transitional Housing, Crisis Accommodation, Long-Term Community Housing, Sector managed and Secretary owned assets.
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
