Hybrid – typically 1 day per week in the office

What's the brief?

This is an HR Business Partner role built around relationships, influence and commercial judgement.

You’ll partner with senior leaders across a portfolio of six businesses, each with its own culture, history and level of HR maturity. Some already see HR as a trusted partner, while others are more accustomed to operating independently.

Your role is to understand the business, build credibility and provide practical advice that works. You’ll know when to coach, when to challenge and when to take a pragmatic approach.

You’ll inherit strong stakeholder relationships that have taken time to build, so maintaining that trust and continuing to strengthen the credibility of HR will be significant from day one.

There’s also plenty happening beyond the day-to-day. With several acquisitions potentially on the horizon, you’ll work closely with senior People leadership across due diligence, workforce planning, integration and onboarding newly acquired businesses.

It’s broad, commercially focused HR partnering without the high-volume ER case load that can dominate other HRBP portfolios.

Is This Your Perfect Match?

You’re someone who builds strong relationships and knows how to adapt your approach to different stakeholders.

You can partner with established senior leaders, challenge thinking when needed and provide practical advice without making things more complicated than they need to be.

You’re commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable working across businesses that don’t all operate in exactly the same way.

Perhaps you’re an experienced HRBP looking for greater flexibility, or you’re a high-performing Senior HR Advisor ready to step up. Either way, it’s your judgement, stakeholder capability and maturity that will matter more than the number of years you’ve held a particular title.

You’ll enjoy variety, appreciate autonomy and understand that great business partnering is about building trust and influencing the decisions that matter.
