About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Services Assistant to support the preparation, delivery, and service of meals to patients and staff. This role plays an important part in ensuring a high-quality dining experience while maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to a positive and supportive environment focused on delivering excellent care and service outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation, delivery, and service of meals to patients and staff.
- Accurately interpret patient menu cards to ensure correct meal service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
- Clean and sanitise crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen utensils, pots, and pans.
- Support general kitchen cleaning and hygiene duties, including food preparation and service areas.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and a positive patient experience.





You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. Candidates should possess positive communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to interpret menus accurately, prioritise tasks effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare, aged care, or large-scale catering environment will be highly regarded.

We can offer you

- Salary: $39.83 to 41.26 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
