We're seeking a fully qualified and licenced mechanic to join our high-volume Gunnedah workshop. This role is ideal for someone ready to oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service & operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Perform mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicles, from light to heavy-duty vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections for registration purposes, ensuring compliance with NSW (AIS) standards.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust, ongoing repeat business.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Report any operational issues or deficiencies to the Management Team.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

- Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate in the relevant class (e.g., motor mechanic) as mandated by NSW Fair Trading.
- Current and valid NSW Driver's Licence.




- Authorised Examiner accreditation under the Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) for conducting vehicle safety checks.
- Proven experience in mechanical diagnostics and repairs across various vehicle types.Excellent communication & customer service skills, both with customers, team members, contractors & Management.
