An exciting opportunity is now available for a Relief General Manager to manage, oversee and lead the brand-new Kar-Rama Hotel. The newest hotel in Mildura, opened in early 2025! The boutique style hotel boasts 34 brand new stylish and modern rooms, complete with car parking, high speed WIFI and a beautiful feature swimming pool.

Managed by leading hospitality management company 1834 Hotels, with a current portfolio Australia-wide network of hotels, resorts, apartments, restaurants, and other venues within the hospitality and tourism sector. We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working hospitalityleader with a passion for driving sales, managing and developing teams, controlling and managing expenses and delivering exceptional customer experiences to manage the day-to-day hotel operations.

Candidates must haveprevious similar experience, and be able to demonstrate:

A passion for tourism and hospitality and overall guest experience, with previous general management experience

Recent accommodation management experience in a highly competitive market and a strong comprehension of profitability, revenue and yield management principlesis essential;

Proven ability to maximise profitability, through effective cost management and driving sales;

Strong leadership skills, outstanding communication (verbal and written), and exceptional time management;





Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of hospitality business operations, with a solid financial acumen;

Willingness to take a hands‑on management approach to develop, motivate and lead a professional and dynamic team, across all departments;

A focus and commitment to delivering high standards of service and product quality, to consistentlyexceed customer expectations whilst ensuring best practices are achieved;

Previous working knowledge of various PMS (RMS advantageous), Channel Management and accounting systems; anda

Strong appreciation and management of Work, Health & Safety.
