Our client is a well-established Australian-owned construction and integrated services business delivering commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, renovations and maintenance projects across corporate, government, public and private sectors.

With a strong reputation for quality, responsiveness and long-term client relationships, they’re now looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join the team and take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Construction Project Manager | Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on Project Management role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail and having genuine ownership of their projects.

You’ll manage the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Managing projects from pre-construction through to handover and close-out
- Developing budgets, programmes, procurement schedules and project plans
- Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiations and performance
- Coordinating trades, consultants, designers and site teams
- Managing budgets, cash flow, progress claims, variations and EOTs
- Driving programme, sequencing and critical path activities




- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Managing contracts, RFIs, site instructions and project correspondence
- Driving WHS, quality and environmental standards
- Managing defects, commissioning and project close‑out
- Providing clear reporting across programme, cost, risk, safety and quality

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak with Project Managers from the commercial fit‑out, refurbishment or construction sector who are confident managing projects end-to‑end and enjoy a hands‑on approach to delivery.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Proven experience managing commercial fit‑out, refurbishment or construction projects
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects at a time with a quick delivery turnaround
- Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management capability
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- A practical, solutions‑focused approach to project delivery
- A strong understanding of construction processes, quality and WHS
