If you’re an HR all-rounder who likes being across everything from recruitment and onboarding to graduate programs, HR systems and employee development, this could be a great next move.
Joining a growing legal practice, you’ll report to the Head of People & Culture, taking ownership of key HR activities and helping ensure the people side of the business runs smoothly.
What’s on your plate?
- Owning the recruitment process from advertising and interviews through to references, contracts and offers
- Building solid relationships with recruiters and alumni
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding to help create a positive employee experience
- Keeping the HRIS, employee records and reporting accurate and up to date
- Getting involved in salary reviews, benchmarking, surveys and incentives
- Supporting performance and development initiatives
- Working with Heads of Department on leave and absenteeism
- Taking the lead on the Law Graduate Program, including interviews, selection and program coordination
- Implementing and overseeing the Work Experience Program
- Coordinating exit interviews and ensuring departures are managed smoothly
A little about you
You’re proactive, organised and approachable,
with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of a business. You enjoy having plenty of variety in your day and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
You’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR Advisor rolewithin legal or accounting firm.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
- Hands-on end-to-end recruitment experience
- Experience with graduate, intern or early careers programs
- Knowledge of remuneration and salary benchmarking
- Strong HRIS administration and reporting skills
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
