We are seeking a detail-oriented tradesperson to join our team and deliver high-quality, specialized retrofitting solutions across local residential sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately measuring, routing, and fitting timber profiles to accommodate new double-glazed units using Thermawood’s retrofitting techniques.
- Installing Thermawood’s proprietary dry-glazing drainage channels, draft seals, and custom timber beads.
- Performing timber repairs, sash balance/cord replacements, and hardware adjustments on classic and modern joinery.
- Removing, modifying, and re-hanging timber window sashes and doors to ensure smooth operation and exact alignment.
- Safely operating routers and specialized joinery power tools on client job sites.
- Adhering to Australian Building Codes, WHS standards, and company quality guidelines.

About You:

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a qualified Carpenter or Joiner (experience with timber windows, doors, or fine joinery preferred).
- Demonstrated skill in precision timber cutting, routing, profiling, and repair.
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Physically fit for handling double-glazed glass units and window sashes on-site.
- Valid driver’s license and current work rights in Australia.
