Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is seeking an experienced and motivated Geology Superintendent to lead our geology and geotechnical functions. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and value-driven delivery of geological and geotechnical services that support mining operations and Life of Mine objectives.

As Geology Superintendent, you will provide leadership across all geology and geotechnical activities, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely technical information to support operational and strategic decision-making. You will also be responsible for:

- Leading the geology and geotechnical teams to deliver safe and effective outcomes.
- Overseeing geological modelling, resource definition, grade control, and reconciliation processes.
- Managing coal quality performance and supporting product quality objectives.
- Ensuring effective geotechnical risk management, slope monitoring, and pit performance assessment.
- Providing technical input into mine planning, operational execution, and Life of Mine planning activities.
- Maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across geology and geotechnical systems and processes.
- Developing team capability and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Yancoal's values.
