About the role

Join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Steward, helping keep our busy resort kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

Youll work alongside our kitchen and food & beverage teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety. From washing dishes and kitchen equipment to maintaining back-of-house areas, youll be an important part of supporting smooth service for our guests.

This casual role offers a varied roster and would suit someone who is reliable, hands-on and enjoys working as part of a quick-paced team.

Duties

- Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment to a high standard

- Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, preparation and back-of-house areas

- Clean food preparation equipment, floors and work areas in line with cleaning schedules

- Handle, sort,



store and distribute food items when required

- Dispose of waste appropriately and follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

Skills & experience

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Kitchen Hand or in a similar role is advantageous

- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy environment

- Reliable, positive and willing to work both independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to use initiative

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
