Lead Identity & Access Management initiatives within a secure cloud environment

A Federal Government Department is seeking an IDAM Technical Lead / IDAM Architectto support the delivery of critical identity, access management and cyber security initiatives. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across identity governance, authentication, access management and cloud-based security solutions. The successfulIDAM Technical Leadwill be offered an initialcontract through to 30 June 2027with a12-month extension option.

The successful IDAM Technical Lead / IDAM Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Developing and maintaining the Identity Governance roadmap, including policies, processes and governance frameworks.

Designing and implementing Identity and Access Management solutions within a secure cloud environment.

Supporting cyber security assessments and implementing ISM-aligned security controls.

Leading technical discussions and providing guidance to architects, developers, analysts and project teams.

Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver Single Sign-On (SSO),



provisioning and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions.

The successful IDAM Technical Lead / IDAM Architect will have experience in the following:

Proven experience delivering enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions and strategies.

Strong knowledge of identity governance, authentication, authorisation and access management principles.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity management technologies.

Experience developing technical roadmaps, security documentation and governance artefacts.

Experience working within secure government environments.
