Exciting Opportunity for an Assistant Centre Manager to help lead our Natural Elements Merrimac Centre!

Natural Elements Early Learning & Childcare - Merrimac is a family-focused centre offering quality care and play-based learning for children from 6weeks to school age. Role Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality curriculum across the service. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership attributes and a genuine passion for early childhood education and curriculum excellence.

The successful candidate will need:

- a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- a current and valid Working with Children Check
- a Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG
- an ability to interpret curriculum documents
- effective oral and written communication skills

Key Role Responsibilities

- Assist the Centre Manager when needed and support/lead your team when required.
- Provide children with a safe,



secure, welcoming and nurturing setting.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Oversee and role model the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.
