Foresite Group is a privately owned Australian group operating across training, labour hire and first aid services. Our businesses work across a diverse range of industries including construction, transport, warehousing, arboriculture and community care and first aid services, with operations across multiple states.
As our businesses continue to evolve, we're looking for an experienced WHS professional to take ownership of our Group-wide WHS function. It would suit an experienced WHS Manager or a WHS Adviser ready to step into a Manager role with greater ownership and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain our Group-wide WHS management system.
- Develop and improve policies, procedures, risk assessments, SWMS, forms and registers.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk reviews.
- Manage incident investigations, corrective actions and regulator requirements.
- Monitor WHS legislative and regulatory compliance across our operations.
- Coordinate WHS training, inductions and competency requirements.
- Provide practical WHS advice and support to managers and operational teams.
- Analyse WHS data, identify trends and provide clear reporting to management.
- Identify and implement improvements to WHS systems and processes.
About You
You're an experienced WHS professional who enjoys taking ownership and improving the way things are done. You're particularly strong with systems and documentation and can translate WHS requirements into practical processes that people will follow.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- A Diploma of Work Health and Safety or higher.
- WHS experience in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and compliance.
- Excellent policy, procedure and technical writing skills.
- Strong incident investigation and corrective-action capability.
- Robust organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working with managers, employees, contractors and regulators.
- Strong digital capability and good working knowledge of AI tools.
